Abstract

|
A case of Glanzmann's Thrombasthenia with iron deficiency anemia in a 16-year-old
female was presented with a brief review of literatures. The patient had been suffered
prolonged epistaxis, easy bruisability since childhood and menorrhagia since menarche.
She was transfused with factor Ⅷ last year but above symptoms were not improved.
After hematologic study, platelet function test, and bone marrow biopsy, she was proved
as Glanzmann's Thrombasthenia and associated with iron deficiency anemia because of
chronic blood loss.
